I am a Specialist Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist with 9 years of physiotherapy and pilates experience. I currently physio for the Great Britain and England Hockey teams at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre supporting the teams towards the Tokyo Olympics 2021. Alongside, I teach Pilates classes in Oxfordshire, and run a physiotherapy clinic in Didcot at Peak Movement Clinic.
I graduated in 2010 with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy and spent many years working within the NHS gaining experience in many musculoskeletal areas including trauma rehabilitation, women's health, occupational physiotherapy and sport. I have also worked in elite and olympic sport, providing physiotherapy on training camps for the Great Britain Women's Rowing Team; for the Oxford University Men and Women's Boat Clubs for the 2018 and 2019 seasons and covering the world renowned Oxford Cambridge Boat Race in London. I went on to complete my Masters in Manual Therapy with accreditation to the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, graduating in 2018 with a distinction.
I have been using pilates for prevention and rehabilitation within my physiotherapy practice for years. I enjoy using pilates personally alongside triathlon training and to keep strong to enjoy the outdoor adventures I try to fit in around work! I also love teaching pilates so I can share the benefits with you and help you achieve your goals, whether that is to move better, for injury rehab or to reduce injury risk and support performance in sport. I firmly believe pilates is for everyone.
